M. A. PHIPPS is an American author who resides near the ocean in picturesque Cornwall with her hunky British husband, bubbly daughter, and their moody Jack Russell, Milo. She knew she wanted to be an author from the day she first read A Wrinkle in Time when she was a child, and she grew up inspired by authors such as J. R. R. Tolkien, Philip Pullman, Garth Nix, and Dennis Lehane (the ultimate master of plot twists). It has always been her dream to become a published author, and it is her hope to expand into multiple genres of fiction.
